Arundel Half Marathon – 21km

The route which is to follow deserves a little context, so I need to take you on a little journey back to 2020 which will be forever stamped in our minds as the year of Covid-19, Lockdowns and whether having wine and cheese in a room constitutes being a business meeting or a party.

Leith Hill Circular – 14km

This hilly route starts out at the base of Leith hill and leads you on a circular trail via the Leith Hill Tower and Tillingbourne Waterfall.

Henfield – 8.5km

A narrow, wet path runs through a frost-covered field with a fence along the right and a clear blue sky above.

This lovely loop which takes in the some of the Downs link and loops round along the banks of the river Adur.

Dragons Green – 7km

This is a lovely 7km route on and around the Dragon’s Green estate following trail and woodland paths to some open fields.

West Grinstead – 6.5km

This route starts out at the old station, and follows the now disused railway line ( Downs Link ) towards Partridge Green. If you fancy a long run the downs link can take you all the way to the coast or back into the Sussex weald towards the North Downs.

Slinfold – 16.5km

This route utilises the downs link trail as well as the country trails and paths leading away from the main trail.

Loxwood – 7Km

A narrow muddy canal lined with trees on both sides, with a large tree trunk in the foreground.

Heading West along the Canal before turning North on the Sussex Border Path, this loop winds counterclockwise through quiet bridleways and lanes through beautiful open farmland to arrive back at the Onslow Arms.

Petworth Park – 7km

Rolling countryside with grassy fields, scattered trees, a small pond, and distant hills under a partly cloudy sky.

This route takes you into the National Trust owned Petworth Park, the route leads you round the majestic 700 acre deer park designed by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown.
